Introduction

Huxtable Farm is a medieval farmhouse with barn conversions offering Bed and Breakfast accommodation in 6 bedrooms. All the bedrooms have en-suite facilities except one room which has a private bathroom. Huxtable Farm is situated in a secluded position on an 80 acre sheep farm in North Devon. The entrance is halfway between West and East Buckland villages, 2 miles north of the A361, 7 miles east of Barnstaple and 6miles east of South Molton. Ordnance Survey map reference SS 665308. Postcode EX32 0SR.

In addition to this directions can be given verbally by telephone or sent via fax. •The brochure and menus can be provided in large print and Braille by prior arrangement. • The National Express coaches run to South Molton and Barnstaple throughout the year. • The nearest bus stop is 3 miles away at The Stags Head, Filleigh, the bus (First 7) runs between Barnstaple and South Molton. There are NO PAVEMENTS on the road from Filleigh, it is a windy country road. If carrying luggage a taxi from Barnstaple – in 2007 this costs £20. • The nearest train station is Barnstaple, is about 20 minutes away by car (7 miles). However if travelling from London and meeting people already in the area who have a car, it is a much shorter train journey to travel to Tiverton Parkway and be met by car. Arrival & Car Parking Facilities

•Please advise use of your anticipated time of arrival so that we can be available to welcome you. •To ensure your accommodation is ready we ask that you arrive after 3pm. An earlier arrival time may be organized by prior arrangement. •The entrance to Huxtable Farm is opposite West Buckland Public School exit. The entrance is marked with a signpost and access to the farmhouse is via a fairly level half mile private lane, the first half of which is tarmac and has hedge banks on either side followed by a ninety degree corner (not suitable for artic lorries or vehicles with a caravan!), a cattle grid and a chipping stone lane to the farmhouse buildings. The second half of the lane has a hedge on one side and open pasture with trees on the other. •There is a sign post for the car park arrival area with no marked parking bays but there is ample room for all cars. •The surface is level, with gravel chipping stones, however there is a footpath made of concrete cobble stones which covers the length of the farmhouse from the stone parking area to the front entrance (approx. 20metres). The first building you pass on the way to the farmhouse entrance is a converted milking parlour where Antony & Jackie, the owners live. •We can assist guests with luggage •We try to greet everyone personally on arrival and redirect cars to their allotted parking spaces near the bedrooms which are not located within the farmhouse. Cars can be parked outside the rooms ‘The Byre’ and ‘Swallow Barn’, whilst the car for the ‘Barley Barn’ room can pull up outside to unload then park in its allotted parking space approx. 10 metres away. •The front door has a bell which can be rung to obtain attention if for some reason arrival has not been noticed. •In the dark, outside security sensitive lighting comes on when cars arrive. •Although we do not provide accommodation for paying guests pets we have a dog that live outside and is very friendly who like to welcome everyone. •The nearest village, West Buckland is a mile walk from the Bed and Breakfast and has a Post Office open every morning

Main Entrance & Reception

•Just outside the front door, entering into the entrance, there is a small concrete slope down 6cms within 22cms from the concrete cobbled stone path. •There are no steps in the front entrance and hall. •The door is 84cms wide and 198cm high •On entry into our home there is a hallway approx. 1.5m by 3metres •There is a grandfather clock and small side table on the left followed by the entrance to the dining room, whilst on the right there is the entrance to the lounge followed by a small bench seat on the right. The main staircase is opposite the front door. •The flooring is slate slabs with a couple of small rugs There is oak screen paneling on the left and stone cob wall painted in magnolia on the right. •There is no actual ‘reception’ area as guests are welcomed with a Devon cream tea in the living room when they have a chance to sign in on the registration card. The registration card can be enlarged if required. •There is no induction loop installed but the acoustics seem to be good in this old building! •A short familiarization tour is given upon arrival and given verbally during tea.

Public Areas – General (Internal)

•The ground floor of the farmhouse has the main entrance hall and an area under the main staircase. From the hall leading off to the right (upon entry into the house) is the lounge and to the left is the dining room. Straight through the dining room to the other side leads to the information room and straight through the information room leads to the laundry room. From the dining room are two access doors to the kitchen. •On the ground floor, to the left side of the main staircase is a corridor 70cm wide and 2.5m long leading to an open area under the staircase, 100cms by 143cms and 175cm high, where there is an extensive library of books and videos to borrow. This area is carpeted with a deep red carpet and the walls are oak paneling, and stone cob wall painted in magnolia. The lighting is low energy light bulbs which need some time to get to full illumination. •The farmhouse main staircase. There are 8 stairs leading to a large step area, 97cms wide by 122cms deep, with two additional steps leading off to the right and to the left. The stairs steps are various sizes ranging from 18 – 28cm high, 24 – 26cm deep and 88cm wide. On the right side of the stairs there is rope hand rail attached to the stone cob wall painted in magnolia. The stairs are carpeted with a deep red carpet. •The farmhouse first floor landing. The landing is at the top of the main staircase and is carpeted in the same red carpet as the stairs. To the left the landing is 2.5m by 1.85m, there is a slight slope to the floor due to the age of the building. The doors to the two bedrooms ‘Yellow Primrose’ and ‘Pink Campion’ lead off from this landing. To the right at the top of the stairs is a smaller landing 96cms by 165cms with access to the ‘Pink room bathroom’ and to the owner’s bedroom. The walls on the landing area are painted with magnolia and decorated with pictures, plates and an oval mirror. The lighting is a single ceiling lamb, an economy saving light bulb is used so needs some time to reach full illumination. There is a smoke detector and emergency light attached to the ceiling.

Public Area – Information room & Public telephone (Internal)

•The information room is located via the dining room, through a Tudor arch (78cm wide by 170cm high) with a small step 6cms high into the information room. Other accesses include the door at the bottom of the ‘The Blue-forget-me-not’ bedroom stairs (71cms wide, 160cms high plus a step 24cm high) and a door from the laundry room (90cms wide by 163cms high, no step). •The room is 416cms by 300cms with a height of 183cms (the height is recorded here because the building is old and has some low ceilings) •The floor is covered with a mix of flag stone slate and concrete. The ceiling has an oak beam protruding from the ceiling 13cms, it is 30cms wide and runs the length of the room 416cms. The walls are cob painted in magnolia. •There is a pine table 150cms by 90cms and 78cms high (leg room height 64cms) and six pine chairs, •The table is used to display items for sale and occasionally for breakfast. •The tourist information is displayed on two racks, one fixed to the wall and the other is on a purpose built shelf. The shelf (104cms wide by 53cms deep and 98cms high) is situated in a space to the side of a chimney breast. Under this shelf is where the high chairs are stored. •Along one side of the information room is some fixed cupboard space 110cm long by 67cms deep and 91cms high. Fixed to the wall above this is a large ordnance survey map of the area. •In one corner of the room is a book shelve with a library of books and .video’s to borrow (no charge) •The public pay phone is located on this shelf along with more tourist information. There is no signal within the farmhouse for mobile phones. The chairs around the table can be moved to sit on whilst using the phone.

Public Areas – WC

•All bedrooms are have en-suite toilets accept the’ Pink Campion’ bedroom which has a toilet located in its private bathroom across the landing from the bedroom, •There is one public toilet, situated outside of the main farmhouse in the fitness/sauna building; the toilet is within the lockable sauna area. •The toilet is a unisex toilet.

Leisure Facilities (Outdoors)

Fitness room & Sauna

•The fitness/sauna building is situated opposite the main farmhouse, in an out building, next to the ‘Swallow Barn’ bedroom. •The step into the fitness room is 26cms high, through a door 70cms wide and 190cms high. •The fitness room measures 3.5ms by 6ms. The walls are painted pale blue and the floor is covered with a blue hard wearing carpet. The lighting is two ceiling lights. •Within the fitness room is a rowing machine, multi gym weight bench, cycling machine, and a children’s 7 in 1 games table (table football, snooker, air hockey etc.) •The sauna room is found within the fitness room, accessed via a door from the fitness room. The door is 70cm wide, 190cm high with a step 17cm high into the sauna room. The door has a key lock. •The sauna room measures 140cm by 370cm with a white toilet & sink, small round table, small shelves, towel rail and two wooden chairs. The floor is covered in lino which can be slippery when wet, so has a couple of mats on the floor. The room is lit with a ceiling light. To the side of this area are the sauna and a shower. •The sauna measurers 233cms by 125cm with a bench, 58cm deep and 179cm high, fixed to two adjacent sides. Access into the sauna is from the sauna room via a door 70cm wide, 190cm high with step of 6cm up into the sauna. The floor is covered in lino with wood slat mats. There is s sealed light in the sauna. •The shower area is situated next to the sauna, in the sauna room. The shower area is 97cm square, with a 26cm step up into the shower area and has a shower curtain.

Table Tennis

•The table tennis table is situated in the garage opposite Jackie & Antony’s house between the main farmhouse and car park. Access is via the two large wooden garage doors, each door 135cms wide and 180cm high. There is a slight slope, rising up 5cm within 28cm into the garage from the cobbled area outside. •Inside the garage measures 2.85m by 7.2m by 1.94m high •In the garage is a selection of various size wellingtons available for visitors to use when walking around the farm. •Under the table tennis table are an assortment of toys available for guests use; footballs, croquet set, children seesaw, buckets and spades.

Dining Room

•Breakfast and evening meals are served in the dining room. •The dining room measures 5.95ms by 4.7ms and has a ceiling height of 2.44ms (the lowest height being under the oak beam, 2.1ms) •The dining room floor is covered with slate fag stones with a large rug under the dining table. •Three walls are painted with magnolia paint and decorated with pictures, whilst the fourth wall backing onto the hallway is the oak screen paneling. •Lighting is three sets of wall lights on a dimmer switch and a lamp. •Access to the dining room from the hallway is via a door, 95cm wide by 180cm high, in the oak screen paneling. Access is also from the information room through the tutor archway and two doors from the kitchen area. The doorways from the kitchen are very low, 164cm high by 80cm wide and 162cm high by 74cm wide, these door ways are though a thick wall 60cm (many people have to duck!) •There is one window in the dining room with an 80cm deep sill covered with ornaments and information on places to stay. •The dining room is heated with a large wood burning stove situated in the large chimney breast. •Furniture in the dining room includes; a dresser situated between the two doors leading into the kitchen, a large oval dining table with 8 chairs, situated on the rug, a small table backing onto the screen paneling, a large rectangle table used when there are more than 8 guests eating in. Next to the fire place is a small chest on one side and a large copper pot flower arrangement on the other. The leg room under the main dining table is 70cms, although there are eight table legs to negotiate. •We are not licensed to sell alcohol so you are welcome to bring your own

Lounge

•Access to the lounge is from the main hallway, via small corridor 90cms long, 90cms wide and 193cms high. The doorway into the lounge is 80cms wide and 188cm high. •Guests are welcome to use the lounge at any time. •It is a large room measuring 4.85m by 6.35m. •The lounge is carpeted with a pale blue carpet and has a patterned Persian rug in front of the log burning stove. The walls are painted in magnolia and have some pictures and plates hanging on them. •The room is heated with two radiators and a log burning stove, which is lit during cold weather. •The room has two windows, one on either side of the room, each with sills 45cms deep, decorated with ornaments and information books. •The lighting is; two sets of fixed wall lights 3 lamps using energy efficient light bulbs, which need a few minutes to get to full illumination. •The lounge has the following movable furniture: a three seat sofa, chess long, two straight back chairs, two soft fireside armchairs, two wooden wicker chairs, a selection of nest coffee tables, a pouffe, and footstall. •In one corner of the room is a table, under which is a large selection of board games. In the opposite corner is an old school desk. In the corner behind the door into the room is a corner cupboard fixed to the walls, with some children’s toys under it. •This room has a radio/CD player with a selection of CD’s, which guests are welcome to use. •A selection of local information books, maps, walks leaflets, magazines, board games and children’s toys are available in the lounge.

Laundry room

•The laundry room is situated at the side of the farmhouse next to the information room. •Access to the laundry room is via the information room, through the door, 90cms wide by 163cms high; with a low ceiling for 40cm (many people have to duck). Other accesses are via two doors from outside, one from the front of the farmhouse through a doorway 69cm wide, 195cm high and a corridor 55cm long, the other door from the side of the farmhouse near the’ Byre’ bedroom, 70cm wide and 190cm high with a step up into the laundry room of 14cm. •The room is 2m by 5.9m with a step 20cm high 2.35m from one side of the room. The lowest ceiling height is 2.1m. •The floor is covered in none slip lino, three walls are painted white, and the fourth wall is wood paneling with a large window. Lighting is one ceiling bulb. •The laundry room has a small fridge (which guests can use) two washing machines and two tumble driers (which guests can use for a small price), a oil burner and a chest of drawers. •The narrowest width in the laundry room is 55cm.

Bedrooms

•All bedrooms are carpeted throughout the bedroom area and have lino in the bathroom areas. •Bedrooms are centrally heated and there is also a fan heater in each room. •All ceilings are artex or painted white. •Tea and coffee facilities and bottled water are provided. •All bedrooms have their own key to the door, a smoke detector, wifi internet connection, T.V/Video, clock/radio, hair dryer, torch, bedside lamps next to each bed, sewing materials, a selection of books and magazines, a bible, tissues, sweets, a bin, luggage rack and tea and coffee tray with a variety of beverages. •A set of towels (a flannel, bath & hand) is provided for each guest. •Our beds are normally made with duvets, feather or synthetic. Pillows are either synthetic or feather. •We are happy to provide sheets and blankets if preferred. Please specify before your arrival if required. •There is a luggage rack, wardrobe, chest of drawers and two chairs in each room. The larger rooms have additional fold away chairs stored in the wardrobes. •There is a folder in each bedroom which contains further information about Huxtable Farm and its surrounding area such as details of emergency contacts including doctors and hospitals.

Bathrooms

•All bathroom floors are covered with lino. •All bathrooms have a heated towel rail, a non slip bath mat for the bath, bath mats, a bin with a lid, cotton buds & ear buds, shower cap, soap, shower gel, toothbrush and razor.

Pink Campion’ Bedroom

•The ‘Pink Campion’ bedroom is situated on the first floor of the farmhouse, up the main staircase. The bedroom is to the first on the left across the landing and the bathroom is to the right. •Access to the ‘Pink Campion’ bedroom is through a door 70cm wide by 175cms high, with a step up into the room of 8cms, with a wooden plinth. •The room is 3.18m by 3.85m and has a ceiling height of 2.22m, with the lowest ceiling height near the outer wall and window of 1.72m. The room has one window overlooking the garden. •The room has a double bed (4’6” by 6’), two bedside tables, a chest of drawers, a wooden freestanding wardrobe, a dressing table (56cm by 108cm by 82cm high), coffee table (36cm by 56cm by 46cm high) and two chairs. A round mirror (circumference 30cms) is positioned above the dressing table. •The floor is carpeted with a dark pink carpet and the walls are painted in a pale pink, decorated with pictures. •The lighting is a single ceiling lamp and two bedside lamps (economy saving light bulbs are used that need some time to reach full illumination). •The ‘Pink Campion’ bedroom is the only room not to have an en-suite bathroom; however it has a lovely private bathroom across the landing from the bedroom and bath robes are provided in the bedroom. •Access to the bathroom is through a door 70cms wide and 190cms high. The room measures 2.36m by 3.8m. •The walls are painted in a pale pink, decorated with few hanging pictures and above the bath covered with a marble look a like lino. The floor has a green & cream patterned lino. •There is a bath with a mixer tap shower over it. A toilet, sink, table, chest and corner cupboard.

Yellow Primrose’Bedroom

•The ‘Yellow Primrose’ bedroom is situated on the first floor of the farmhouse, up the main staircase. The bedroom door is situated second on the left across the landing at the top of the stairs. •Access to the room is through a door 86cms wide and 188cms high with a step up into the room of 6cm, with a wooden plinth. This takes you into the en-suite bathroom first. •The bathroom floor is made up of two areas. The first area is 2.1m by 1.18m covered in the same red carpet as the landing. The sink with a mirror (18cm by 24cm) over it and a towel rail are found here. The second area is where the bath, toilet and a chair is found in an area of 1.96m by 1.8m and the floor is covered in lino. The two bathroom areas are separated with a step, with a wooden plinth, along the 1.96m length, ranging from 5cms to 17cms in height. •The walls are painted in a pale yellow decorated with hanging pictures and a long mirror 118cm by 34cm. •Lighting is by an inset ceiling. •Access to the bedroom is through a door, 70cms wide and 196cm high, from the carpeted area of the bathroom. •The bedroom measures 3.88m by 3.18m, with slope gradient of 15cms within 3.18ms (the legs on the bed have been cut off so that you don’t roll out of bed!). •The ceiling height is mostly 2.2m but is as low as 1.55m near the outside wall and window. The ceiling has some small brown beams. The room has one window overlooking the garden. •The room has a double bed (4’6” by 6’), built in wardrobe (63cm by 86cm), table (93cm by 55cm by 72cm high), a chest of drawers (106cm by 49cm by 106cm high) with a mirror (44cm by 36cm) positioned on top, bedside tables, a soft chair and wooden chair. •Lighting is by an inset ceiling light and bedside lamps. •The walls are painted in a pale yellow decorated with hanging pictures.

Blue-for-get-me-not’ Bedroom

•Access to the ‘Blue for-get-me-not’ room is through a doorway (68cm wide by 160 high), straight onto a staircase part of the bedroom, from the information room. •The staircase is made up of nine steps, the last three at the top making a 90 degree turn to the left. Each step is about 72cm wide but vary in size from 18cm to 25cm high and 23cm to 32cm in depth. There is no hand rail but there is wood paneling on either side of the stairs, and the top of the wood paneling on the left to hold onto. •The bedroom is 4.06m by 3m. The ceiling has some small brown beams. •The lighting is two ceiling lamps and two bedside lamps (economy saving light bulbs are used that need some time to reach full illumination). •The room has a double bed (4’6” by 6’), built in wardrobe (66cm by 44cm by 175), a chest of drawers (92cm by 44cm by 78cm high) bedside tables, a long mirror (1.18m by 34cm) a soft chair and fold away wooden chair. •The floor is carpeted with a blue carpet and the walls are painted pale blue decorated with hanging pictures. An oval mirror (43cm by 59cm) •The toilet is positioned over the staircase and has its own door (70cm by 197cm) from the bedroom. The toilet room measures 1.33m by 1.15m and has a small sink and toilet. Lighting is a with a spotlight type lamp. •The bathroom area is at the side of the bedroom area, separated from the bedroom with heavy lined dark blue curtains. •The bathroom area measures 85cm by 170cm accessed from the bedroom up a small 3cm by 170cm step. A sink with a mirror (18cm by 24cm) over it is found here. Half way up the wall is wood paneling and the top half is painted in pale blue. The floor is covered in lino and the area is lit with three halogen spot lights. •To the right of the bathroom area is a shower cubicle with door (50cm wide and 170cm high), with a step (27cm) into the cubicle. The shower cubicle is 70cm by 66cm, has a power shower and is lit with a halogen spot light.

‘The Byre’ Bedroom

•’The Byre’ bedroom is in an outside annex to the side of the farmhouse. The entrance to the ‘Byre’ is about 3.5m from the laundry room door. The outside ground is covered in concrete between the laundry room and ‘Byre’. There is ample parking for those in the ‘Byre’ just outside the room on the chippings. •Access to the ‘Byre’ is through a door 70cm wide by 195cm high and with a step 16cm up into the ‘Byre’ porch. •The porch measures 1.3m by 1.03m. The floor is covered in a Hessian door mat. The walls of the porch are made up of three doors and a wood panel. There is no window and is lit by a ceiling light. •The door to the right upon entry to the porch leads into the en-suite bathroom. The door is 87cm wide and 168cm high with two steps up into the bathroom. The first step is 7cm high and 20cm deep, the second step is 14cm high. •The bathroom measures 3.38m by 1.6m plus a bath and airing cupboard on one side. The room also has a white toilet and sink and a mirror over the sink (18cm by 24cm). The room has one window and is lit with a ceiling light. •The bathroom floor is covered in a green and white lino. The walls are painted white and around the bath is a marble patterned lino. •Access to the bedroom is through the door straight in front of the entrance to the porch. The door is narrow, 62cm wide and 1.99cm high with an 18cm step up into the bedroom. •The bedroom is 6m by 3.33m with a ceiling height of 2.1m. The floor has a green carpet, the walls are painted cream and decorated with hanging pictures. •The bedroom has three windows and is lit with two inset ceiling lights and bedside lamps. •The room has a double bed (4’6” by 6’), two single beds (3’by6’), the double bed is accessible from both sides whilst the single beds are accessible from one side only. The room also has a built in wardrobe and sink vanity unit (197cm by 54cm), a chest of drawers (95cm by 49cm by 95cm high, coffee table (44cm by 48cm by 46cm high), bedside tables, a long mirror (1.18m by 34cm), a mirror over the sink (18cm by 24cm) two soft chairs and two fold away wooden chairs. There is ample space for a cot or camp bed to be added to this room.

‘Swallow Barn’ & ‘Barley Barn’ Bedrooms

•’The Swallow Barn’ and ‘Barley Barn’ bedroom are in an outside annex (converted barn) opposite the farmhouse, the other side of the garden. The entrance to both bedrooms is about 41ms around the garden from the farmhouse door entrance. From the farmhouse door there is a path, at least 2m wide, covered in concrete cobbles with a very slight uprising slope. This then changes into stone chippings all the way to the steps outside the bedrooms, the first 10ms (4m wide) are an upwards slope with a gradient of about 1 in 3 and the final 8ms (6m wide) are flat. •All this area is illumined when dark by outside sensory lighting. •There is ample parking for those in these rooms just outside on the chippings. •Both rooms share the same first two steps, then the ‘Swallow Barn’ has another two steps into the room to the right and the ‘Barley Barn’ room has another two steps to the left. The first step is 120cm wide, 61cm deep and 13cm high. The second step is 150cm wide, 153cm deep, 16cm high from the first step and 25cm high from the chipping (30cm wide) to the left of the first step. •Access to the ‘Swallow Barn’ bedroom is up two more steps, the first 94cm wide, 33cm deep and 18cm high, the second 24cm high through the door (69cm wide and 191cm high). •Access to the ‘Barley Barn’ bedroom is up two more steps, the first 94cm wide, 33cm deep and 18cm high, the second 26cm high through the door (69cm wide and 191cm high). •Both bedrooms have a dark blue pattern carpet and the walls are painted pale peach decorated with hanging pictures. Both bathroom floors are covered with a blue tile look-a-like lino, the walls are painted white on the top half and covered with a marble look-a-like lino on the lower half and above the bath. Each bathroom has a mirror (24cm by 33cm ) above the sink, wall fan heater and wall heated towel rail. •The ‘Swallow Barn’ bedroom measures 3.58m by 4.9m with a ceiling height of 1.18m. •The room has a double bed (4’6” by 6’), one single bed (3’by6’), a door mat, a fitted wardrobe (64cm by 2.5m), a chest of drawers (108cm by 48cm by 96cm high), a coffee table (34cm by 51cm by 47cm high), an oval mirror (66cm by 39cm), a long mirror (33cm by 95cm), two soft chairs, two bedside tables and a T.V./Video on a wall stand 123cm high. •The bedroom has one window and is lit with two inset ceiling lights and bedside lamps. •The en-suite bathroom is through a door (68cm by 193cm). The floor space next to the bath is 1.86m by 2.26m and has the toilet and sink (40cm by 57cm by 82 high) on it. The bath is 1.7m by 69cm and has a shelf area behind the bath. The lighting is a light inset into the ceiling switched on with a pull cord 125cm from the floor and a light over the mirror. •The ‘Barley Barn’ bedroom measures 4.75m by 5.8m with a ceiling height of 2.15m. •The room has a double bed (4’6” by 6’), two single beds (3’by 6’), the double bed is accessible from both sides whilst one of the single beds is accessible from both sides and the other is accessible from one side only. There is ample space for a cot or camp bed to be added to this room. •The bedroom has two windows and is lit with two inset ceiling lights and bedside lamps. •The en-suite bathroom is through a door (67cm by 192cm). The floor space next to the bath is 1.1m by 2.3m and has a white toilet and sink (40cm by 57cm by 82 high) on it. The bath is 1.7m by 69cm and has a shelf area behind the bath (57cm by 68cm). The lighting is a light inset into the ceiling switched on with a pull cord 125cm from the floor and a light over the mirror.

•Mobile phone reception is none existent in the farmhouse but some signal can be found in the garden & car park area. •In the event of a fire we will ring the school bell in the hall and shout ‘FIRE’. In the event of a fire that you’ve found please alert others by shouting ‘FIRE’. Please advise us if you have a hearing impairment and might not hear this. The farmhouse can be evacuated via the main entrance in the hall or the door from the information room. In an emergency there is also an exit via our bedroom next to the ‘Pink room’ bathroom. All the bedrooms outside of the farmhouse have direct access to outside. There is a water fire extinguisher situated in the information room and smoke detectors in all bedrooms. •We do not permit smoking in any of the accommodation but you may smoke in our garden. Please request an ash tray. •We are happy to cater for special diets or any particular likes or dislikes. Please advise us of these before your arrival. •We are happy to refrigerate any medication.
