JACOB SHEEP PRODUCTS FOR SALE

Our beautiful flock of Jacob sheep are shorn in May and the colours in their fleeces are sorted into light and dark, whilst the lambs fleeces are left as they are to create the grey wool, producing a variety of natural, undyed colours. The fleeces are then sent away to be washed, carded and spun into double knitting wool or woven into beautifully soft cloth to produce scarves, shawls, knee rugs, cushions and throws. Huxtable Farm washed and spun Jacob wool, £5 per 100gm skein. Pale colour Jacob wool, 90/10 Jacob/Mohair DK 2-ply yarn 100gm skein. These are processed by Fenland sheepskins using their Chrome Free tanning method.Jacob sheep fleeces, ideal for spinning or felting. The fleeces are beautifully soft, with natural colours and staple length of 6.5cm plus.
